This book was awesome, it did not disappoint, after reading book one, everything came right back together in this book!! Being from the West Point area, and being military myself (NAVY) during the time frame, it brought back good/bad memories, most that I had almost forgotten, which was a good thing. I enjoyed every word of it and I am so looking forward to the next book. Thanks Yvonne Doll and Ruth Van Dyke, for telling such a great story! I am waiting "patiently" for the 3rd in "The Guardians of Peace" series.

Great story about women in the military in the 1980's. It resonated with me and was a good story.
It was wonderful to read about many of the places I visited while in Germany! My experiences were different since I was enlisted. I love the way these women interact...not always happy and acting like everything is perfect. I would love to see the books introducing some enlisted women into the group.

This was a great book . After I started reading it , I couldn't put it down . It was a very interesting book with alot of insight about U S M A first class of women and the harassment by both cadets and faculty that they faced.
A most enjoyable book. For those with no military experience will gain insight into that life. It is a great story about friends experiencing weekend trips in Europe. The first book was also enjoyable. Now I can't wait for third one.
I enjoyed reading the first books of the series and am looking forward to reading the third one.
Very disappointing after the first volume. This is mostly a travelogue of how four women spent summer in Germany in about 1981. Very detailed about the towns that they visited. The military parts are few and far between and not very interesting. Too bad because the first volume was very good.
